Figs wrapped in Parma Ham with Basil Oil for 6

Annie demonstrates some easy canapés to make at home for Christmas Eve Drinks or before lunch on Christmas Day! You can get the kids to help too with these ones. 


Ingredients

  • 1 x large fig halve and then third (nip off the stem and its bottom)

  • 2 x slices of Parma Ham slice each into three ribbon strips

  • 6 x micro basil leaves or ribbons

  • 1 x lid cap of basil oil

  • Salt & Pepper


Method

  • On a chopping wrap the fresh fig having drizzled a little oil on, with a strip of Parma ham, quite tightly and garnish with a basil leaf.

  • Scatter a little Malden Salt from a height over the finished figs and give a good grind of black pepper over them all.

  • You can lightly grate Parmesan cheese over. 

  • Now transfer onto a silver serving dish or black slate.
