Giant Storage Offers Free 12-Month Storage Container to a Frome Charity

A local charity could benefit from a free 20ft storage container and removal service thanks to a new community initiative from Giant Storage.
The family-run self-storage company, which is expanding its facility at The Cotton Works in Frome, is inviting charities and community organisations to apply for 12 months of free storage support.
The offer includes the use of a 20ft storage container together with a free van-and-man removal service, helping organisations safely store equipment, donations, stock, fundraising materials or other essential items.
Giant Storage operates six facilities across the South West, including sites in Frome, Salisbury, Amesbury, Warminster, Crewkerne and Yeovil. As the company continues to grow, supporting local communities remains an important part of what it does.
The business has already provided free storage and removal services to families affected by house fires, helping them store belongings and donated items while getting back on their feet.
One family, whose home was destroyed in a fire, received free storage while donations were collected to help them rebuild their lives. Samantha, whose young family lost almost everything in the blaze, later wrote:
"We couldn't thank you enough for giving us that storage unit whilst we was getting all our stuff together from what people have donated us. You took away the stress of where we was going to store all our stuff and made it easier for us."
The company has also supported organisations including Amesbury Baby Bank and Old Sarum Longhedge Pantry through free storage solutions.
Amesbury Baby Bank said:
"Thank you! Without you guys, there would be no more Amesbury Baby Bank!"
Now, Giant Storage is hoping to extend that support to a charity based in the Frome area.
The company is inviting applications from charities, community groups, food banks, animal rescue organisations and other local causes that could benefit from additional storage space.
