Frome Valentines Lamp - Signed Fine Art Giclee Print
There is something wonderfully immersive about Violet’s work. Hidden words, subtle messages and playful details are woven into each design, inviting you to pause and look again. Every viewing offers something new to discover, whether it is a familiar street name tucked into the skyline or a quiet sentiment hidden in the background.
Sustainability sits at the heart of her practice. By giving discarded magazines a second life, Violet turns what might have been thrown away into something lasting and meaningful. Her work is thoughtful, meticulous and full of imagination, celebrating both creativity and community.
Rooted in Frome but admired far beyond it, Violet’s collages are joyful, detailed and endlessly engaging, perfect for anyone who loves art with a story to tell.

Valentines Lamp - Violet Von Riot
Violet von Riot
Frome-based artist Violet von Riot creates richly detailed collage artworks entirely from recycled magazines, transforming everyday printed pages into vibrant scenes full of character and life.
Working with donated materials from the local community, Violet carefully cuts and layers hundreds of tiny fragments to build her intricate compositions. The result is artwork that feels almost painterly in depth and texture, yet reveals its collage roots the closer you look. Townscapes, wildlife and much-loved local landmarks often feature in her pieces, capturing the spirit of Frome with warmth, colour and a strong sense of belonging.
