About the author

Eleanor Hayes is a Somerset based writer, musician and cook with a particular enthusiasm for wild garlic!

 

She lives in Frome and enjoys turning simple ingredients into practical and approachable recipes for everyday use.

 

Alongside writing, Eleanor runs a web design agency (Webzang) and is an active member of Frome Symphony Orchestra where she plays the tuba and serves as co-chair. She also presents the classical music radio show and podcast Classical Vibes .

 

Before food writing, Eleanor authored books on childbirth from a previous career as an antenatal teacher.
