If you’re ever lucky enough to spend an afternoon in The Round Tower at Black Swan Arts, you’ll know there’s something quietly magical about that space. The way the sun pours in through the skylight, the way every sound spirals upwards and fills the room…it’s like the building itself leans in to hold you.

Last Thursday, the Round Tower held nine of us, along with two radiant guides: Sarah Devaki from Pure Heart Therapies and Joney McNamara of Wild Woman Tea — for their Pure & Wild Yoga & Sacred Tea Ritual. And honestly? It was glorious.
Part One: Hatha Yoga with Sarah — sensory, soulful, and surprisingly funny
Sarah has this wonderfully warm, earthy presence — the kind of teacher who can talk you into relaxing even before you lie down. Her Hatha Yoga flow was slow, nurturing and full of sensory imagery to help you drop into the moment:
✨ moving as if through fizzy prosecco
✨ coming home to the warmth of your grandparents
✨ imagining you're not squashing the chocolate-covered strawberries (I tried… I probably still squashed mine!!)

She also taught us the art of ‘Do-in’ — an ancient self massage technique — rubbing our hands and bodies to naturally release oxytocin — which left everyone smiling and slightly blissed out.
I learned something very important too: If you can’t balance in tree pose, it’s not that you’re 'bad at yoga'… it’s that your brain is all over the place. (Which felt extremely correct for me, thank you Sarah).
The session ended with an utterly electrifying sound bath. Because the tower is round, the vibrations travelled straight up into the roof and back down through us again — three waves of sound that were powerful, uplifting, and honestly a bit life-affirming.

All under the energy of the Scorpio New Moon — the perfect day for intentions, stillness, and a fresh emotional reset.
Part Two: The Wild Woman Tea Ritual with Joney — warmth, womb-space & deliciousness
After yoga, Joney invited us into a gentle meditation that began in the womb — soft, grounding, and incredibly centring.

We tasted the Pick Me Up Cowboy turmeric blend, which was unlike any tea I’ve ever tried. Think: candied orange, velvet vanilla, autumn leaves, childhood magic, and that warm hug you get when someone hands you a mug of something comforting on a cold day.
It was unanimous around the room: This tea is special.

We journalled, reflected, held space for ourselves, and let the new moon do its subtle but powerful bit in the background.
And… drumroll…
Fabulous Frome will be stocking Wild Woman Tea soon!
Keep an eye out — they’re absolutely perfect for Christmas presents, and the loose tea can even be used in cakes, yoghurts, desserts, or sprinkled over porridge. (Yes please.)
Final thoughts
Two incredible Frome women, a sun-drenched historic tower, yoga that makes your heart feel bigger, tea that tastes like memories, and a group of lovely locals all slowing down together.
If you need a reset, a moment of softness, or simply want to treat yourself to something a bit magical… this workshop is a beautiful way to do it.
Pure, wild, and completely fabulous.
